Transparency & Legal Compliance
Compliance & Licensing
SLMTA operates in full compliance with state talent agency licensing laws across all markets. We believe transparency about how we work — and why — is the foundation of trust with our talent.
No Upfront Fees
SLMTA does not charge registration, listing, or application fees. We earn commission only when you get booked. This is the industry standard for legitimate talent agencies — and our firm commitment.
Licensed Partner Network
In states that require a talent agency license for procurement, SLMTA works exclusively with professionally licensed partner agencies. We provide management and development; our licensed partners handle all procurement in those states.
Minor Protections
All talent under 18 requires a parent or legal guardian to co-sign any representation agreement. We follow all applicable child labor and minor talent laws in every state we operate.
What This Means for You

Additional State Notes
Pennsylvania
Pennsylvania does not have a statewide talent agency licensing requirement. However, certain municipalities within Pennsylvania (such as Philadelphia) may require a local business or employment agency license. SLMTA operates freely in PA under general business law. Talent in PA cities with local licensing requirements will be notified if a licensed local partner is engaged for their booking.
